On September 4, 2022, the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations and Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, celebrated Divine Liturgy at the stavropegic church of All Saints in Strasbourg, France.

Concelebrating were Archimandrite Philip (Ryabykh), rector of the All Saints church and representative of the Russian Orthodox Church to the Council of Europe and the European Union, clerics of the church, and ordained pilgrims.

A prayer for the soonest restoration of peace was offered up after the Litany of Fervent Supplication. This special prayer is read in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’.

The Liturgy being over, a prayer service for the start of the new school year was celebrated.

Afterwards, Metropolitan Anthony delivered a sermon and greeted the rector and parishioners.
