On 13 December 2018, Cardinal Dominik Duka, Roman Catholic Church, handed over a particle of relics of the Holy Martyr Ludmila, Patroness of Bohemia, to the church dedicated to her and located at the Russian Embassy in Prague. Receiving the relics were archpriest Nikolai Lischenyuk, rector of the metochion of the Russian Orthodox Church in Karlovy Vary and archpriest Vladimir Abrosimov, rector of St. Ludmila’s church.

In gratitude for the relics Cardinal Duka was presented with a Vladimir icon of the Mother of God made at the Sofrino art production enterprise of the Russian Orthodox Church, website of the metochion of the Russian Orthodox Church in Karlovy Vary reports.
